You Don't Have to Go Through This Alone

Losing someone you love is one of the most profound experiences a person can go through. It changes the way the world looks, the way the house feels, the way ordinary moments land. Grief is not a phase to push through or a problem to fix. It is a natural, deeply human response to love and loss.

At Symponia Hospice, we believe the end of our care for your loved one is not the end of our care for you. We stay with families through what comes after. Through our Grief Support program, we offer a gentle, guided space where you can process, connect, and begin to find your footing again at whatever pace feels right for you.

We're here to support you every step of the way. Through our Grief Support program, we offer gentle ways to navigate through this process together. Our virtual bereavement support group is led by our experienced Bereavement Coordinator and our compassionate team.

About Our Virtual Bereavement Support Group

Our bereavement support group is a free, virtual gathering held every second Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. ET. The group is led by our experienced Bereavement Coordinator and our compassionate team, and it is open to anyone who is grieving, regardless of whether your loved one was in Symponia's care.

There are no rules for how grief is supposed to feel or how long it is supposed to last. Some people join us weeks after a loss. Others join months or years later, when the weight of grief settles in a different, quieter way. Wherever you are in your journey, there is a place for you in this group.

Each session is a space to listen, share, reflect, and breathe alongside others who genuinely understand what loss feels like. You will never be pressured to speak or share more than you are ready to. Showing up is enough.
